Robinhood
UX/UI Design system Usability Test
Digital Fulfillment and Lifestyle Platform ; Food, Hotel booking, Flight booking, Tour & Activity booking, Car rental, Express service, Local grocery shopping
Challenge
The primary challenge was to create a unified design system and user interface that could accommodate diverse offerings while ensuring a consistent and intuitive experience for users across all sections of the app.
Solution
I began by deeply studying user behaviors, preferences, and pain points across lifestyle and on-demand service apps. These insights shaped a clear design strategy built on intuitive navigation, a consistent visual identity, and thoughtful information architecture. I focused on integrating map and location features seamlessly, simplifying booking and checkout flows, and enabling smooth real-time tracking, ensuring every interaction felt effortless, familiar, and user-centered.

Users can follow their orders in real time with live rider status updates, enjoy streamlined booking and payment flows, and receive personalized recommendations tailored to their needs and context—ensuring a seamless, intuitive experience from start to finish.
Outcome
The final Robinhood mobile app design delivered a unified and enjoyable user experience, allowing customers to access and manage a wide range of services from one seamless platform. With its intuitive interface and smooth navigation, the app was crafted to boost engagement, enhance user satisfaction, and strengthen long-term loyalty to the Robinhood ecosystem.
